Laptop help needed!!

i'm back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my poor laptop finally succumbed to a virus so i've had some lovely blokes working on it for the past 2 weeks - virus free now but the keyboard has gone a bit funny so i'm using it as a desktop pc with a usb keyboard and all is working ok! thanks again for all your advice, but one of the pc blokes gave me a good deal on a HP notebook pc so i've now got that as well as my 'desktop laptop' now so will have fun playing with that over the weekend! its got windows vista so i hope thats easy to use!?!?!

ooh glad you got it sorted now, how come you got a virus though? thought you got anti virus protection and all that!!?
Glad you got yourself another one to use though, enjoy it, vista is good as far as l'm aware, no probs for me.

i did have Norton on there but the blokes at the pc shop say it doesnt stop everything so have taken it off - it also apparently slows your pc right up too which might explain why mine was taking so long to do anything!

l always remember Di telling me DONT get norton, but the men in the shop were so convincing and they gave me a good deal(half price or something)so l thought what the heck and bought it, well l soon took it off! haha

yeah that was funny, after me telling Tess they will try and talk you into to it, and they suceeded !! LOL

Norton is rubbish, just search online for the reviews lol

Vista is odd at first, but you soon get used to it... I love it! as much as some people dont lol

l have got this message coming up from avg saying its about to run out you need to install new one then it gives me a price to pay!!LOL l'm not paying for it when l can get it for free, whats that all about?!?! So Di....do l just download the new one, whats the name of it or link please?
